Welcome to the Scottish Watches Podcast Episode 661! We ran out of time last recording, so this is our pre-Watches and Wonders rundown on new releases. We are actually impressed by the new Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon, which is exclusive to the Middle East after OK releases celebrating Audemars Piguet’s 150th anniversary.
Norqain makes the Wild One accessible to more wrists with new 39mm iterations and announces it on the wrist of Gary Nevil as a new ambassador and investor as Norqain expands to the UK. Another former Footballer, Nico Leanard, collaborates with Dutch microbrand Maen to create a handsome jump hour watch. Armin Strom announced the Orbit Purple, and it’s on the list of watches that we have to experience this week. A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity just arose because someone will get to own Neil Armstrong’s commemorative gold Omega Speedmaster as it’s going under the hammer.
