Kristin Ann Jones was going through a rough stretch – she was forced to retire early from a job she loved, she lost her mother, and her daughter developed health issues. But when the world was feeling overwhelming and she just wanted to avoid everything and everybody, her dog Archer was able to get her outside of her head and into the beautiful nature around them in the Pacific Northwest. He also got her to focus her attention on others, spending many hours as a therapy team together, and instilled many valuable lessons that informed Kristin's new book Everything I Know about Life, I Learned from My Dog.For more information about the episode, guest, and featured social media or links: www.dogsavethepeople.com/episodes/kristin-ann-jones - If you liked this episode, then please support our Independent podcast production, go to www.buymeacoffee.com/dogpeople to buy us a (virtual) coffee as a one-time donation or recurring monthly membership.
