▶︎ Recognize the Manipulation: Narcissists thrive on controlling emotions and pushing your buttons. Be aware of their tactics so you don't fall into their trap.
▶︎ Set Clear Boundaries: Establish strong, non-negotiable boundaries to protect yourself from being manipulated or dragged into emotional games.
▶︎ Don't Take it Personally: Narcissists are experts at making you feel like it's your fault. Understand that their behavior is a reflection of their own insecurities, not a reflection of you.
▶︎ Detach Emotionally: Practice emotional detachment by staying calm and focused on your response, rather than reacting impulsively to their provocations.
▶︎ Limit Communication: Minimize communication with a narcissist whenever possible. The less you engage, the less power they have over your emotional state.
▶︎ Don't Engage in Power Struggles: Narcissists love conflict because it boosts their ego. Refuse to get dragged into arguments or debates where they manipulate the narrative.
▶︎ Stay Grounded in Your Truth: Keep reminding yourself of your worth, values and truth. Narcissists will try to distort your reality, but you have the power to stay centered.
