The second episode of the short 20/21 Pre Season involves Millsy hosting alongside Judgy for the blues and Gary for the Reds as we look through the news and rumours surrounding both teams this week. For Everton, the rumours of a deal for Allan from Napoli continue to gather momentum and it seems that one is very close. Judgy talks through the qualities that the Brazilian will add to the lacklustre Everton midfield as well as discussing the potential move for long term Everton target Dacoure from relegated Watford. On the red side, Gary is asked how significant the signing of Thiago Alicantara would be for the current Liverpool squad and how much he, as a fan, wants it to happen before the new deal for Neco Williams is covered as well as the statement from Jurgen Klopp that he plans to walk away from Liverpool and potentially Football, at the end of his contract in 2024. There are some juicy social media questions for both sides of the park including further question marks about the role of Marcel Brands at Everton, the “worst flops” that the Blues and Reds can remember and the people that the lads would most relish recording a podcast with. The podcast concludes with Millsy giving his missus a telling off for disrupting the “Zoom” connection and both sides discussing the rumours that Football fans may be able to return as early as October but only with stadiums at 20% capacity.
