The latest Across The Park podcast is a highly positive one with both sides recording victories in the fourth round of fixtures and both sitting at the top of the league table on 10 points. Terry, the sole reds representative on this weeks podcast, is  optimistic about upcoming season having witnessed another highly fluent and dominant attacking display at Leeds. There were a lot of positives including the performance of Thiago but these were outweighed by the disappointment of losing Harvey Elliot to a devastating, season ending injury. Terry reflects on the challenge which led to the injury and the implications on the strength of the squad going forwards. The blues, Ian Mills and Gary Judge, were left buzzing after another come back seen them destroy a stubborn Burnley in an electric 15 minute spell with what both described, as some of the best attacking and aggressive football they’d seen in a number of years. The blues win was slightly marred by another negative outburst from Richarlison and Ian questions his long term future. Both sides of the park face some social media questions including the success of Everton’s budget summer signings and the place that Mo Salah may have alongside Liverpool legends of yesteryear. There are upcoming fixtures for both sides discussed with Liverpool opening their champions league campaign against AC Milan and entertaining Crystal Palace whilst the Blues travel to Aston Villa. The lads give their predictions on the upcoming games after a look back at two Merseyside derbies in “a week in history” and the ever popular “higher or lower” quiz game.
