Join Mary as she kicks off this month's topic of Femininity. We get a lot of unconscious messaging around what it means to be a woman. A lot of “shoulds.” A lot of rules. And often a lot of pressure. We are put in a box with very limiting ideas of what it means to be a woman. Depending on where we grew up, our family of origin, and religious upbringing these ideas will differ. It is so important for us to begin to recognize how these outside influences have affected how we show up as women. Once we identify these “rules” we have been living by, we can then begin to define femininity for ourselves. We want to be able to create a definition of femininity that is empowering, expansive, grounded, and solid. Only we can individually choose what femininity is for ourselves. When we free ourselves from the cues of diet culture, of porn, of family, of religion, of region… we are free to take our cues from our own experiences and create our own definition of femininity that takes into account the unique way that we each show up in the world.

ON THIS EPISODE WE WILL DISCUSS...

-How our culture impacts our definition of femininity

-The difference between traditional femininity and modern femininity

-How location, family of origin, and religion inform how we see ourselves as women

-Creating a new blueprint of femininity

-Stepping into femininity from a place of power

-Multifaceted femininity

-Tapping into your feminine wisdom

-And much more!
