One of our favorite remakes tackles the always complicated, never-quite-completely-satisfying Sana season with predictably mixed results. We love Amira, we love Las Labass, we’re a little mixed on Dani, and rather divided on Amiris. The season tackles Amira’s Muslim faith sensitively and head-on, and somehow loses the plot (metaphorically speaking). Was it due to shooting during Covid? We’ll never know.
