Two Feet Walking: Part 3

APRIL 21, 2021 By The Leader's Journey (Edit)

Between the pace of change and the complexity of modern life, congregational leadership isn’t just one thing and can’t be done by just one person. In order to stay balanced and effective, leaders must learn to engage the complexity of both making individual disciples and mobilizing a group of people to engage a shared mission. We call this Two Feet Walking.

In this episode, we talk about integration–the ability to walk with both feet in a natural cadence and rhythm of leadership. We also address the obstacles to this way of leading–overwhelm and fatigue, job descriptions and congregational expectations and the danger of trying to do it alone.
