Dr. Robyn Thompson. She is a respected Midwife, Maternal Child & Family Health Nurse (MCaFHN), Breastfeeding Specialist, and founder of The Thompson Method (TTM) Breastfeeding Program.

Dr. Robyn has 50 years of experience as a hospital and homebirth midwife, and she is no stranger to the hardships of motherhood she has seen the standard of care within the hospital system repeatedly fail both pre-and post-natal women. Recently, Dr. Robyn was awarded the Order of Australia Medal for her exceptional dedication and outstanding achievements in the medical field as a midwife and breastfeeding specialist.

Dr. Robyn is passionate about giving women the confidence and knowledge to make informed decisions for themselves and their babies – even when faced with unexpected or difficult situations. She would be happy to discuss the very real struggles with breastfeeding. Dr. Robyn could also elaborate on how we can rethink hospital systems to reduce complications, the importance of asserting your rights in the hospital, and the influence of labor and birth choices on breastfeeding success.
