Instead, James and Ryan review the ups and downs of a truly strange 90 minutes at Goodison. We get into some stats and tactical approaches, but spend just as much time talking about the officiating, luck, and individual mistakes. From the shirt tug on Richarlison to the lack of a 2nd yellow card on Everton’s penalty, unfortunately the PL officials take center stage once again. Everton also once again have to contend with injuries against a good side that is able to keep the same lineup match over match.
