That is the analysis of David Katz, CEO and co-founder of Plastic Bank, creating an ecosystem where people in poor countries can earn credits in an app by picking up plastics for recycling. The technology is enabled by a blockchain solution and allows the user to buy medicine, education, food and fuel with a discount.
