The character and spirit of this upside-down country is most embodied in the spirit of Ned Kelly. Ned lived fast and died young as a very distinctively Australian Robin Hood. Most of his mishaps involved accidental homoerotic scraps, nonchalant armed robbery and even a guns blazing shoot-out complete with iron body armor.
