Important vs Urgent

Proactive vs Reactive

In coaching my clients, this keeps coming up.

Many of us focus on solving problems, attending to the needs of others, and not enough time being proactive and doing things that are IMPORTANT!!!

Proactive - for me this means completing things you could easily procrastinate, and things that help move the needle on your long term goals, for example:

PROSPECTING!!!

Not just prospecting for tenants, but ALSO prospecting for Acquisitions !!

Calling owners of buildings to see if they want to sell. Doing it again and again.

Is that hard? I guess.

I know it’s harder for some, than others.

But I know you won’t reach your goals as fast as you want, if you don’t do things that are Important and Proactive!!

Stop filling your day with “activities” so you THINK you’ve been busy!

Fill your day with activities you’d prefer to procrastinate - THOSE are the ones you need to pay attention to and complete!!

Think about it!

What do you keep procrastinating?

DO IT NOW!!
