Wow this week I’m feeling truly blessed to have tricked the very cool and nice and funny actor/comedian/tiktok star Michael Blaiklock into talking to me for like 2 hours during quarantine on my podcast!! He’s telling the stories of his Big Middle School Crush and the mortifying events that unfold when friends decide to take matters into their own hands, AND his Big High School Crush that involves an insane story where one of my favorite fanfic tropes actually happened? How did I get so lucky! This podcast shouldn’t be free. We’re talkin: facetime dates, how does one recognize mutual physical attraction virtually lol, the concept of “perfection” in dating, being a kid with a healthy fear of authority, a slow dance request, a lipsync battle, very public rejection, new romantic values, being a high school Shoulder To Cry On Guy, debilitating fear, oversharing on dates, low self esteem, the need to please, the little “what if” voice, feeling like you deserve nothing but also you DO deserve your crush, and SO MUCH MORE!!!
