The phrase Word of God is only used four times in the Old Testament. It is found one time each in 1st Samuel, 1st Kings, 1st Chronicles, and Proverbs. While in the New Testament the phrase ‘Word of God’ is used 45 times in 44 verses. It is used the most in Acts, a whopping thirteen times.
