With next-gen consoles on the horizon, Sony and Microsoft are showing just how different their strategies are. In an interesting yet unsurprising move, Microsoft is coming back to their idea of forwards compatibility with the announcement that all Xbox Series X games throughout the consoles first year will also be playable on all Xbox One family of consoles. On the other hand PlayStation has announced that it will continue with a more traditional idea of exclusives with the PS5 having exclusive games day 1.
