Tera Smith was a 16-year-old girl living in Redding, California. On August 22nd, 1998, Tera told her sister she was going out for a jog and would return in 20 minutes. Tera went missing and has never been found. Although he was never declared a suspect, her family believes her former Taekwondo instructor knows something about her disappearance.

They heard from Tera's friends that the two had an inappropriate relationship. Then, they found a letter from Tera to the instructor that cemented it in their minds. At first, this man was willing to talk to investigators, but that quickly ended, and Tera's case went cold.
