"The Idea Of You" had its world premiere at the 2024 SXSW Film Festival, where it received positive reviews for the chemistry between stars Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine and its mature writing and commentary on age-gap relationships, self-worth, prejudice towards middle-aged women, and more.
