Jon Bergmann is one of the pioneers of flipped learning. Jon has traveled over 700,000 miles training school leaders and educators on six continents on what he calls “the operating system for Mastery Learning.” Jon has authored 13 books including the bestselling book Flip Your Classroom: Reaching Every Student in Every Class Every Day, which has been translated into 13 languages. John Baker, M.S.C. founded the cloud-based learning platform company D2L in 1999 with the belief learning was at the heart of solving many of the biggest challenges in the world. Baker was awarded the Meritorious Service Cross in 2017 -- earned for his work to advance learning across the country and around the world. Baker has also won the Top 40 Under 40 in Waterloo Region in 2009.
