Macondo is a small winery run with exacting care by Lorenzo Catasta who, in 2016, decided to make wine from his father's vineyards, planted 50 years ago. Bianko - this is the name of the only wine produced by Macondo - is made from the blend of Trebbiano Toscano and Pecorino grapes, aged for 22 months in barrique, expresses a magnificent sensorial complexity and richness, an endless sequence of clean aromas, as to deserve DiWineTaste Five Diamonds and the title of best wine of September 2020.
