This lecture course is proposed for the students of ICTP Diploma program in Condensed Matter and Statistical Physics. This course gives an introduction to modern theoretical condensed matter physics, including the theory of strongly correlated systems (heavy fermions, high-temperature superconductors) and ultra-cold atomic gases. The emphasis will be given to the theory of cooperative phenomena (magnetism, supefluidity etc). The course is useful for students interested in theory of strongly correlated phenomena and phase transitions. -- NOTE: This course was recorded automatically in slots of one hour and processed without human intervention.
