During a freezing walk home after a New Year’s party, a group of college students spots what appears to be a little girl standing alone on a frozen pond inside a condemned park. While everyone else hesitates, one young man ventures onto the ice to rescue her—only to discover something impossibly wrong waiting beneath the surface. What follows leaves him physically scarred, terrified of water, and haunted for years by memories he can barely force himself to relive. But just when he finally begins convincing himself the nightmare is over, a chilling encounter involving his own son suggests that whatever lurked beneath the ice may still be out there… waiting.
