Roxy Striar & Tara Erickson head back to Glenville Sanatorium in Declan O’Brien’s 2011 prequel Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings, which reveals the origin of the Hillicker cannibals. In 1974, the deformed Hillicker brothers—Three Finger, Saw Tooth, and One Eye—spark a blood-soaked riot at the asylum, massacring staff before disappearing into the woods. Fast-forward to 2003: nine Weston University students—Kenia Perrin (Jenny Pudavick, Project Greenlight), Sara Washington (Tenika Davis, Diablo 3), Bridget Manalo (Kaitlyn Wong, Superman Returns) and their friends—snowmobile into a blizzard and take refuge in the same abandoned ward, unaware that the brothers still lurk within.

What follows is a march of terror worthy of the franchise: Porter’s grisly kitchen butchery, Claire’s barbed-wire hang and decapitation, and the brutal trap that turns Kyle’s desperate barricade into a fatal mistake. The girls’ frantic fight leads to a harrowing outdoor snowmobile chase—complete with a razor-wire snare that decapitates the last survivors—while Three Finger hauls the severed heads away in his tow truck.
