Julie is visiting a Pitchford Hall in Shropshire, close to the border with Wales. Like many historic homes, Pitchford has enjoyed visits from the Royal family over the years. In the autumn of 1832, Queen Victoria - then a 13 year old Princess - stayed at Pitchford, writing in her diaries that she enjoyed visiting the old diary, playing the harp and going up to the little house in the tree. Julie follows in Victoria’s footsteps, taking tea in the Tree House and then enjoying a cold water dip in the Victorian plunge pool out on the estate.
