Cathy Gilmore | Australian Seabird and Turtle Rescue

For over thirty years Cathy Gilmore has been rescuing wild animals on the central coast. Cathy founded the Australian Seabird and Turtle Rescue Association, Central Coast Branch, which consists of volunteers who are licensed to rescue and rehabilitate Seabirds, Shorebirds, Sea Turtles and Sea Snakes in NSW.

Cathy explains why party balloons don’t go to heaven, why fishing hooks don’t rust out and why wild animals are suffering because of our recreational activities on the coast.
