Trust can be hard for those of us who grew up in a dysfunctional family.

We might be stuck in the past and find it hard to trust in the present.

However, we might also might struggle with trusting too quickly (and with people who are not healthy for us).

What we can focus on is:

  • Understanidng our memories from the past and processing them.
  • Let go of trying to control the past by reproducing similar situations in the present.
  • Learn how to trust ourselves.
