Renate is author of a book about female inventors, a German and European Patent Attorney and holds a PhD in Engineering. She acts as a role model to promote STEM subjects and her profession to women. In the book Renate discusses why there are so few female inventors in Germany (only around 6%) and what can be done to change this.
