It's not really about what it's supposed to be about". Truer words were never spoken and they apply to this week's episode as much as any. Welcome to a Steel City NFTeams Pod that has been months in the making... This is the Hattie Bs Nashville Hot Chicken Extravaganza with Nik, B and Ace plus our special guest who made this possible, Greg Younger! Unofficially, this episode is called the "S. K. Warne Tribute Over" and near the top of the pod, everyone takes a moment of silence to remember the great leg spinner. After that, hot chicken is eaten, people sweat, people need to leave the room, people struggle to carry on. "Shut the Cluck Up" heat will do that to you. Don't judge. Southwest WA's famous spearmint milkshakes then make their pod debut and the crew even manage to talk a little about NFTeams. This includes the invention of a new term - "The Royal Unflushable" - which describes a score of -0.6 in tournament play. In addition to this, the first official Gold Shield Award nominees are discussed and an inaugural champion is crowned! Against the odds of hot, hot food, the team persevered and got the job done!  Shout out to Karate Kid 3, Cobra Kai, Kevy (who has missed his calling as a waiter and chicken serving extraordinaire) and Coo. Honourable mentions go to spearmint leaf lollies and teeth lollies. Both are great if you ask Nik. Not so great if you ask Ace.  As always, we apologise in advance for many things and today, that is the sound quality. As you will hear, we were so excited for this pod that we spoke much too loudly at different times.
