In this episode, Joshua Stock dives into the first of SFC’s six B.R.I.D.G.E values: believing

SFC defines this "believing" value as follows: “Our faith is grounded in biblical truth. We, as the Body of Christ, pursue a lifestyle of prayer and worship.”

Now, believing is such a loaded term, isn’t it? So while the definition above is great...what are we actually talking about here? How does a lifestyle of prayer and worship fit into this concept of believing? Isn’t belief just a mental assent thing? Or is it more than that?

To help him dig into this idea of believing a little more, Josh interviews one of his long-time friends, Jamie Mcleod. Jamie is a pastor in the ski town of Mammoth, CA who has an incredible heart for people. Jamie has spent a lot of time engaging with and caring for people in the Mammoth area (as well as around the globe), and has an incredible testimony of what it looks like to believe well in “dark places.” So using Jamie’s story, Josh and Jamie talk about what it means to believe well and highlight some of the obstacles we may encounter along the way.
