Emily here! - For the last 5 years, Michael and I have talked about spending our anniversary in New Orleans and we were blessed to be able to visit two weeks ago. We decided to vlog the whole thing, along with recording a NOLA recap episode when we arrived home. The trip and the recording of this episode happened before the recent hurricane and Tori, Lindsey and I debated if we should even release it, but in the end, we love the city and its residents and wanted to celebrate the people and places that make New Orleans so special. We had also planned an entire month of New Orleans-themed true-crime cases, and have decided to move forward with the idea, but we would like to turn this into a fundraising opportunity for the people affected by the storm. This fundraiser has closed! :) $226 was donated to hurricane relief!
