On a Tuesday night in May of 1997 in Oklahoma eight years old Kirsten Hatfield was taken right from her own bed in the middle of the night without disturbing anyone in her house including her 3 year old sister that slept right beside her. It would be almost 24 years before investigators would find that the person responsible was so close the entire time.
