On this episode of the Podcast, we are joined by U.S. Army Infantry Veteran Brent Buffington. Brent served as a counter-IED specialist and rifleman for Alpha Company 1-23 Infantry, Earth Pigs, at COP Mushan in the Horn of Panjwai in 2012. Brent is also the co-host of The Pig Pen Saloon, a live stream podcast on Instagram (@pig_pen_saloon), that interacts with current and former service members to talk about the difficult aspects of warfare and military service. Brent talked to us about his experiences in the horn at Mushan, and two impactful days from his deployment. We also enjoyed some light conversation at the expense of the Army, the State of Georgia, and other topics.
