Daisy helped found Sun Valley Kitchen and Community Center in Denver, CO 7 years ago. Sun Valley is the poorest community in Colorado where 50% of the residents are 18 years old and younger. This center, that Daisy runs, provides children and families in Sun Valley with opportunities for self-expression, self-awareness and personal growth. Which looks like no-cost grocery programs, cooking classes, tutoring, art, music and dance programming for kids. Just to name just a few of the many cool things they are up to over there.
