Doug Walker (Monolith, The Spice Pistols) comes back shortly after his first episode to talk about the devastating fire that took his (and his bandmates' from The Spice Pistols) house, and most of their belongings, including pretty much all of their music and recording gear. Doug gets real talking about the fire and it's aftermath, gets full of gratitude talking about the music community that's helping to support them, and talks about getting through a full tour supporting Agent Orange in the "Age of Rona". We did manage to listen to some music, and dig into a particularly interesting article about the "post-hardcore) scene in Ontario Canada that devolved into Doug predicting what each "post-hardcore" band would sound like based on band photo, band name, and album cover alone (he's pretty fucking good at it). We also learned about Soft Grunge (look it up), and finished up with a song by Dumb Waiter...a previously listened-to band that we loved who was kind enough to send us a record!This is a great episode, and please donate to the GoFundMe if you can, and share it if you can't.
