SlashU is back to our regularly scheduled syllabus. This week we watched Island of Blood from 1982. Available for free on Tubi with a couple short ads mixed in. The cast for a low-budget movie goes to an island to shoot. But there's a killer among them, he's got a whole bunch of tape recorders, all playing the same catchy (annoying) song. And he's killing people according to the lyrics. We thought it was pretty good, not totally flawless, but a solid campy slasher with a twist ending.
