With Metroid Dread approaching, the Beat of the Month crew decide to take a look at where the series all began. We dust off our NES controllers (OK not really...we played on Switch) and take a journey through Samus' first expedition to foil the space pirates' plans. We talk about the good, the bad, and the Ridley as well as how revolutionary this early NES game was and the impact it still has. We also cap things off with some Metroid series trivia that really tests the crew's (Mother) Brain.
