So much loss has taken place over this past year and that loss looks different for all of us. So many Looking Up guests have recognized some of the gifts they've received by way of their struggle during this time… but one thing that’s important to highlight is human flexibility, the ability to be emotionally and mentally flexible, or what it means to adapt, to recreate, to reinvent and to pivot to find new paths moving forward, especially when faced with setbacks. This week’s guest is a reality tv alumni, author, entrepreneur, restaurateur and mom. She was on the Bravo show Ladies of London for 3 seasons, is the owner of two LA hotspots, The Draycott and Olivetta, and is the creator of the new kids' snack brand Mavericks. In the face of the pandemic when restaurants closed for so many months she reinvented her business model and did so all with the focus on how she could help our healthcare heroes. We talk about finding light in less than ideal situations, her entrepreneurial spirit, the battles we are all facing and how to make our wars beautiful… In this episode, she reminds us of how much love there is in the world despite all the chaos.
