I'm so excited about this episode! Dion Johnstone was a wonderful guest! I love interviewing/chatting with those in the industry because you get behind the scenes stories, more knowledge about being on set, just a different perspective. You can also head the passion in their voice when talking about a show they love. He chose Lovecraft Country, this is available on HBO and HBO Max to watch and it stars Jurnee Smollett and Jonathan Majors. Let me tell you, the synopsis on IMDb doesn't do this show justice, you won't know what hit you, but you will continue to be intrigued and want to know more.
Dion Johnstone is a very talented actor that you can catch on Netflix's Sweet Magnolias as Chef Erik. I know there are a lot of Hallmark fans out there that watched him on A Family Christmas Gift with Holly Robinson Peete and the one and only Patti LaBelle (better stock up on those pies early, you know they will be gone). He is also on UP's Ties That Bind and many more films and I'm so blessed that he said yes to being a guest on the podcast and was able to find the time.
