I think we can all hear the theme song to Jaws anytime we think of the film and it also brings a bit of fear when its heard. Jaws is on the AFI Top 100 Films of all time and rightfully so, it is still holding up after almost 50 years later. It was directed by Steven Spielberg based on a novel by Peter Benchley, who co-wrote the screenplay with Carl Gottlieb. Listen to this weeks episode as Edward Kerr and I discuss this classic film. You might remember Edward from his role as Pastor Ted on Pretty Little Liars (he was honestly one of my favorite reoccurring characters on the show and I wish he had been in more episodes) or at Rick on What I Like About You or even as Lt. James Brody on SeaQuest 2032, or anyone of his numerous roles listed on IMDb from House or Lucifer. Also, I can't believe he played the love interest of Mary Louise Parker, she is such an amazing actress. He is fun to chat with and a super friendly guy, very down to earth, and next time Ed is on, I promise to drink as well.

Shark Attack Margarita (breadboozebacon.com):

Ingredients

1 1/4 ounce silver tequila

3/4 ounce Cointreau orange liqueur

3/4 ounce blue curaçao liqueur

4 to 6 ounces sweet and sour mix

1 lime wedge for rimming the glass

Margarita salt for rimming the glass

Grenadine

Crushed ice

Directions

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour in the tequila, Cointreau, blue curaçao, and sweet and sour. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds.

Place margarita salt on a small plate in a thick layer. Cut a slit in the center of the lime wedge and then place it on the rim of your glass. Run the lime wedge around the entire glass to get the rim wet. Remove the lime wedge and dip the rim into the margarita salt.

Fill the glass with ice, being careful not to knock the salt off the rim.

Remove the lid of the shaker, and strain the margarita into the glass.

Place one test tube inside one shark until it is all the way in. The test tube will stick out a little bit. Fill the test tube with grenadine until you can just see the grenadine above the shark's mouth.

When you're ready to serve, quickly turn the shark over into the margarita and plunge the test tube (and shark's head) into the margarita so the grenadine slowly bleeds out into the cocktail.
