In October 2020 amidst a global pandemic, Adi Strigl discovered a need to share the gift of yoga with kids and opened the first kid's yoga studio in Bucks County, PA called The Yoga Gnome. Adi was first introduced to yoga at the age of 16 in her homeland, Israel. Yoga found her again at the age of 23 and has been her anchor and sanctuary throughout life’s adventures ever since.   After serving as an officer in the Israeli army and traveling the world, she met her husband and settled in Bucks County happily with their 5 kids. (3 humans and 2 fur babies). Adi has accumulated many hours of yoga training with many inspiring yogis and has completed a 200-hour certificate twice (because yoga is life), and a 300-hour certificate as well. Additionally, she holds a 95-hour children's yoga certificate with a trauma-informed lens, along with Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction background. Adi has a degree in Graphic Design and a passion for music. She strives to bring lightheartedness, thoughtfulness, playfulness, and humor into her classes, and make yoga accessible to all ages and abilities.    In this episode, Adi shares the story of her family's cross country journey during the pandemic and how a magical meditation beneath a tree led to the inspiration for The Yoga Gnome. Her humor and lightheartedness are so refreshing. This conversation will leave you giggling, smiling and learning. Listen in NOW!
