In this episode, Feedfeed Food Editor Alexa Santos virtually sits down to dinner with Davy Khy AKA @loveinmybelly. Davy is the daughter of immigrant parents who survived the Cambodian genocide in the late 1970s. She was born in a refugee camp before her parents immigrated to the U.S when she was barely a month old. After years of watching her mother cook, testing out her recipes, and traveling all over Cambodia, she has finally brought her mother’s dishes to life through her memoir cookbook LOVE IN MY BELLY. Davy talks about her relationship with food, her culture, and what went into the production of this memoir cookbook.
