For this episode, I spoke to Melissa who lost her sister Jolissa to a senseless homicide. On October 25, 2013, in Edinburg, Texas, Jolissa had just returned home from work. Shortly after arriving home, security cameras captured three men approaching her apartment. The men shot through her door and killed her instantly. Jolissa was a young mother who was preparing for her 21st birthday. She had a son who was 2 at the time of his mother’s death. There were 3 trucks leaving the scene of the crime. The trucks are described as:Vehicle one: A dark colored, possibly black Ford F-150.Vehicle two: A light colored, possibly silver, Ford F-150 with a chrome/silver toolbox.Vehicle three: An unknown darker make and model truck.The Edinburg police believe the killing was targeted and not random.
