If you’re independent like me, sometimes you can feel misunderstood by your peers. You don’t rely on you’re parents for nothing but nice Christmas cards and a little birthday gift. It’s not always easy balancing relationships that aren’t on the same level of maturity. Sometimes the best thing to do is not feel bad, pour less into relationships that aren’t providing equal value, not compromising your goals, and meeting new people.
