Simple capacitor powered free flight model airplane aimed at the beginner. The model is powered by an electric motor connected to a capacitor which can be charged in a few seconds. This kit is great for kids and can be built relatively quickly with adult supervision. Capable of long flight and is a great choice as an educational tool for learning about flight or just having some fun.

This 20" span Ramrod by Alexandre Cruz is a great flying replica of Ron St. Jean’s legendary gas model. Mild power setup allows excellent performance with easy 90 second maxes in E20 configuration.



22" (?) WS Cloud Tramp Short Kit, $11-19

A Volare Products laser cut short kit of Charles Hampson Grant’s classic stick model – the Cloud Tramp. This is a BASIC Short Kit of the Cloud Tramp. It comes with laser cut 1/20″ sheet flying surfaces, re-engineered wing saddle and wheels, and plans/instructions.

Optional items include:  8″ Chinese Prop (+$1), an 8″ Superior Props Cloud Tramp Prop Blank (+$8). The builder provides: Propeller (possibly from the options), prop shaft and nose bearing, 1/4″ square balsa, 18″ long, wire for landing gear and tail hook, rubber motor.
