This episode was a fun one for me. Going to Kentucky to be in bourbon country was on my list and would be a trip to happen soon. But going to Kentucky to pick four barrels of bourbon for Ryan's Liquor was a bucket list item for me. This episode we talk about our trip, what we did, where we stayed what we picked, what we liked and what we didn't. Getting to go was a thrill and experience I'll never forget, getting to pick Four Roses (all 10 recipes), Heaven Hill - EC Barrel Proof, Markers Mark and Buffalo Trace made this IMO the ultimate trip. Only thing that would have made it better was to have had a Wild Turkey RR pick and not the Heaven Hill, listen to find out why.
