Welcome to this weeks episode. And one I have been SO excited to share with you. I’m joined today by Lauren Mahon, an award winning podcast host, charity champion and a dear friend. In 2016 Lauren was diagnosed with breast cancer and at a time where she felt most alone, created an online space for the cancer community to connect and raise awareness of how important it is to be in tune with our bodies. From there girl vs cancer was born and it’s been a non stop rollercoaster of amazing opportunities and incredibly overwhelming experiences since then. In this episode we discuss whether cancer defines Lauren, how loved ones can best support and how treatment and recovery impacted her mental health.
