On this episode of the podcast/vlog, I do a lot of my own maintenance and modifications. I even build a lot of my own rig mods and make changes to my gear to optimize it for my use. But, is that always the right decision?

When does it make sense to DIY and when does it just make more sense to buy a piece of gear? When does it make sense to do your own maintenance or take it to a dealership or repair shop?

On this episode, I'm talking about my opinions, but that's just what they are, opinions. I'd love to hear you post up in the comments with what you think! Everyone's opinions will be different based on experience, expertise, availability of work space and tools, and more. So, let me know what you think!
