Lovely Laura is a live saxophonist that, after discovering a talent for jamming alongside a live DJ, has gone on to become one of the most recognisable faces of good times house music. Whilst studying Jazz in Leeds, it was a chance meeting with fellow musician Pav that led Laura to her first visit to Ibiza where she became a mainstay at the legendary Manumission and Hed Kandi series of events. Often working alongside her husband DJ Ben Santiago, Laura has created a dynamic duo that never fails to bring the positive energy and the party vibes. Recorded live and direct from her base in Ibiza, we find out how she made it from Dorset to the Balearics, the approach she takes working hand-in-hand with her husband and her hopes for the future of the scene in a post-pandemic world.
