ALL SEEING EYES: The writers and director of Good Omens

Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman wrote the novel Good Omens – The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter. Witch.

Douglas Mackinnon best known for his work on Sherlock and Doctor Who has directed each of the six episodes of this one off limited series.

The Supernatural Beings of Good Omens

Aziraphale an angel and part-time book dealer played by Michael Sheen.

Crawley/Crowley an Angel who did not so much Fall as Saunter Vaguely Downwards played by Jessica Jones and Doctor Who actor David Tennant

God provides lots of narration for the series expertly brought from the pages of Good Omens by Frances McDormand

Not to be outdone, Satan also appears voiced by Doctor Strange and Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch.

The Archangel Gabriel gets an expanded role in Good Omens played by the excellent Jon Hamm.

Good Omens features the Apocalyptic Horse Persons

War is played by Mireille Enos from The Killing and World War Z

Death is voiced by the always brilliant Brian Cox

Famine will be played by Yusuf Gatewood from The Originals

Pollution will be brought to life by Lourdes Faberes of Knightfall

Adam has his own crew in Good Omens – The Them

Adam the leader is brought forth by young actor Sam Taylor Buck

Our favourite member Pepper is played by Amma Ris

Know-it-all or at least some of it Wendsleydale is Alfie Taylor

Finally Brian rounds out the gang played by Ilan Galkoff

Other major players in the Apocalypse

Agnes Nutter, who makes very accurate if specific prophecies, is played by Josie Lawrence who previously played the role on the BBC audio adaptation.

Anathema Device her only living ancestor is played by Adria Arjona

Newly hired Witchfinder private Newton Pulsifer is played by British comedian Jack Whitehall

His boss the Witchfinder General Shadwell is portrayed by former Spinal Tap member Michael McKean

Their downstairs neighbour and painted Jezebel, Madame Tracy is played by one of our favourite British actresses Miranda Richardson.
