Director Tonje Hessen Schei is a Norwegian award-winning documentary filmmaker who has worked with independent documentary production since 1996. Tonje is the director of DRONE, a documentary on the secret CIA drone war. The film won the Norwegian Gullruten and Amanda awards, the Golden Nymph Award and received the award for The Most Valuable Documentary of the Year at Cinema for Peace in Berlin. Tonje has been featured in national and international media, including The Guardian, Monocle, VICE, Wired and has been on the BBC and CNN.
